Dear Parents,

Jesus made it very clear that children matter to God.  He values them not only for what they will become in the future but also for who they are today!  Jesus even recommended to His grown-up, self-important disciples that to understand God’s kingdom, they needed to observe, learn from and imitate young children!  (Mark 10:13—16)

When we take time to build loving relationships, children (and you, parents!) come to see, hear and experience how the love of God through Jesus Christ looks, sounds and behaves!  Parents, in terms of time investment, children’s ministry is immeasurable!  Families with children come to church and become connected because of the way their children were loved and cared for by the leaders and teachers in the ministry. 

Therefore, I ask you to pray about being Christ’s hands and feet in children’s ministry.  Ministry only happens because of our fantastic volunteers!  As you can see inside, there are MANY possibilities available.  Come and be a part of this exciting ministry!!!

SUNDAY:

♥Resource Room Sunday Help- Every other month.  Help on Sundays with supplies, copying, and clean up.  (contact Debra@uchurch.tv)
♥Kick Off Sunday- Prepping, copying, cleaning, organizing week before, and assist in room location that day.  (contact Shari@uchurch.tv)
♥Welcome Station- Once a month for 12 months before 9:30 or 11:00.  (contact Shari@uchurch.tv)
♥Superintendents- Take attendance for 9:30 or 11:00.  (contact Shari@uchurch.tv)
♥Floaters- No preparation needed.  Fill in where needed at 9:30 or 11:00.  (contact Shari@uchurch.tv)

WEEKDAY:
♥Sound Stage/Storytelling- Set design & set up switching once a month.  (contact Lynda.Ryan@uchurch.tv)

♥Resource Room Weekday Help- Your schedule.  Data entry, scan attendance, and organization.  (contact Debra@uchurch.tv)
♥Take Home Projects- Help with phone calls, postcards, birthday cards, cut-out craft projects, etc.  (contact Shari@uchurch.tv)
♥J-Quest & Grace Place- Your schedule.  Help with changing unit supplies, bins, etc.  (contact Debra@uchurch.tv)

MISC:
♥Preschool Bible Hour- One hour program 10:00-11:00: set ups and hands-on activities during event.  (contact April@uchurch.tv)
♥Hospitality- Baking cookies, cupcakes or other needed food items for an event, serve food at event. (contact Debra@uchurch.tv)
♥Family Events- Prep work before event, set up on day of event, help during event, & clean up after event.  (contact Kelly@uchurch.tv)
♥Decoration Volunteers- Help with decorations for events such as Kick Off Sunday, VBS, Christmas, Easter, and other special days.  (contact Lynda.Ryan@uchurch.tv)
